Isabel involved in the Rose d’Or Festival
I’ve just come across a new photo and article about Isabel being involved in this years Rose d’Or Festival. The Rose d’Or Festival is run by a Swiss media company, and Wikipedia describes it as “one of the most important international festivals in entertainment television”. It is held in Lucerne, Switzerland, and this year runs from May 6th – 10th.
I don’t know what Isabel’s exact involvement in the event is – perhaps she will be a jury member? Or she might just be attending to support an arts festival in her family’s native country. Hopefully we will get more information in the next few weeks.
Below is the tweet announcing her involvement, plus an article with mention of her attending the festival. The organisers have also released a really nice photo of Isabel, presumably to promote her involvement, and you can find that in our Gallery.
Check out the official website for the festival, their Facebook page, and their Twitter for more on their event.

Something for Everyone at the Rose d’Or Festival
The Rose d’Or Festival offers its international guests and the public a first-class entertainment line-up from live music and comedy through to the highlight of the Golden Rose Awards Ceremony. Many celebrities from the world of TV and film are already planning to attend the Awards Night at the KKL, among them TV legend Larry Hagman, best-known for his role as JR Ewing in cult US series Dallas which experienced a revival airing this summer. Australian-Swiss Hollywood hopeful Isabel Lucas will also be in Lucerne for the event, Isabel began her career in Australian television. Festival Director Markus Helbling said “This great cast of national and international stars really demonstrates the importance of our festival for the international TV industry.” Festival President Marco Castellaneta said: “This year the Festival will also be opening several events to the public, including the Rose d’Or Comedy and Live Music nights. With these events, the Rose d’Or Festival will establish its roots even more firmly in the city, thereby bringing its content to a wider audience.” The Rose d’Or will open this year with the Blick und Tele’s Swiss TV Awards.
